Rules:
- This “Block” button will add an application to Radio Silence’s blacklist, prohibiting any future incoming or outgoing network connections. Using Little Snitch For total insight into and complete control over your Mac’s Internet connection, you’ll want to use Little Snitch.
- Aug 25, 2019 Just grab the output and copy/paste into Little Snitch. The script is written to block access to any process, any port. You can also delete those lines and it will only block Mail. Or use the options to enter any process, port or protocol you want to block.
Sep 22, 2018 It is very easy to block an App from incoming or outgoing connection with Little Snitch. From the software interface, click on New Choose Application you want to block. Notice: You may feel being very annoying with the dialogue pop-up that keeps asking you about connecting to the internet — Screensaver, Safari, Firefox, etc. Little Snitch allows you to block outgoing connections; the MacOS firewall only blocks incoming connections. Handy if you're running some untrusted program and aren't sure what it's going to do, or if you want to disable a program for updating itself, or if you want to prevent access to a specific resource. For those of you that don't know what Little Snitch is, it's a Mac program that detects outbound connections and lets you set up rules to block connections. You can block access to certain sites outbound, block certain applications outbound, or prevent a single app from accessing a specific IP address or domain name outbound. Mar 08, 2013 To do this, open Little Snitch and select New Rule. The New Rule sheet will drop down. At the very top, you can control if you want to block or allow incoming or outgoing connections. You can then choose the application, or set a global rule that applies to all processes. Below that is the fine tuning controls for how you want this rule to work.

However, from another host on my network:
What makes it worse it that I was trusting Little Snitch to block this for some time, and I realized today I can even ssh into my machine from a machine I've connected to via an openvpn connection..so I've been exposing myself to that entire network on the other side.
Help please!
Thanks in advance.

How To Block Outgoing Connections Mac With Little Snitch Game
Little Snitch informs you whenever a program attempts to establish an outgoing Internet connection. You can then choose to allow or deny this connection, or define a rule how to handle similar, future connection attempts. This reliably prevents private data from being sent out without your knowledge. Little Snitch for Mac runs inconspicuously in the background and it can also detect network related activity of viruses, trojans and other malware.
Features and Highlights
Silent Mode – Decide Later
There are times where you don’t want to get interrupted by any network related notifications. With Silent Mode you can quickly choose to silence all connection warnings for a while. You can then later review the Silent Mode Log to define permanent rules for connection attempts that occurred during that time.
Research Assistant
Have you ever wondered why a process you’ve never heard of before suddenly wants to connect to some server on the Internet? The Research Assistant helps you to find the answer. It only takes one click on the research button to anonymously request additional information for the current connection from the Research Assistant Database.
Automatic Profile Switching
Rules can be arranged in different profiles like “Home”, “Office” or “Mobile Internet”. This allows you to use different sets of filter rules depending on the network you are currently connected to. Profiles can be activated either manually from the status menu, or automatically, whenever you join a network that’s associated with one of your profiles.
Firewall for incoming connections
Little Snitch for macOS not only reveals any outgoing network connection attempt to make sure that sensitive data doesn’t leave your computer without your consent. The inbound firewall in LittleSnitch provides you with the same level of control for incoming connections.
Note: Requires 64-bit processor. The demo runs for three hours, and it can be restarted as often as you like. The Network Monitor expires after 30 days.
